A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie GreenCareerBoard.com uses, what it is for, and how long it lasts.
Under EU rules we may set strictly necessary cookies without asking, but we must have your consent before setting any other kind. We keep this page accurate rather than generic: it describes the cookies this site actually sets.
1. Cookies set when you browse
One, and it exists only to remember which language you are reading the site in. It holds no identifier, so it cannot be used to recognise you across sites or to build a profile.

This is a functional cookie serving a feature you asked for by choosing a language, and it does not track you, so it does not require consent. If you block it, the site still works; it may simply revert to the default language between pages.
2. Cookies for the site operator
One further cookie exists but is never set for visitors. It applies only to the site operator signing in to the administration console.

This cookie is strictly necessary for a login to work at all, so it does not require consent.
3. Analytics and tracking
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social sharing script is loaded on this site, so there is nothing for you to consent to and you will not see a cookie banner.
This is a deliberate choice for launch rather than an oversight. If we do add analytics, a consent banner will appear first, no non-essential cookie will be set until you agree, and this page will list every cookie involved before it is used.
4. Cookies set by other companies
We embed no third-party video, map, chat widget or social feed, so no third party sets cookies through this site. Following an apply link takes you to the employer's own website, which is outside our control and will have its own cookie practices.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies through its settings, and blocking cookies from this site will not prevent you from browsing or searching jobs.
